Shenzhen University is launching the 2024 "Liyuan Tour" Winter Camp program.  We are looking forward to your arrival this warm winter!

Program Overview

1.SZU is a prestigious comprehensive university, ranked within the top 30 in Mainland China.

2. Enjoy a beautiful campus environment and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship.

3. Small class sizes (minimum of 10 students per class).

4. Elite Chinese language teachers provide a fully immersive Chinese language learning experience.

5.Chinese language courses range from beginner to intermediate levels and can effectively link up with                   regular Chinese language program courses.

6.Classes are held on Monday to Thursday mornings, focusing on comprehensive and spoken language.                 Group discussions and speeches is available in the afternoons. Fridays are reserved for cultural experiences.

7.To provide rich cultural experience and urban exploration activities，there will be cultural tours and urban         exploration activities twice a week in the afternoon. During the weekends, overnight sightseeing activities             are available. (Location: eastern part of Shenzhen)

8. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of course study.

First session: January 6, 2024 - January 20, 2024

Second session: January 20, 2024 -February 3, 2024

(Students may choose to attend one of two sessions)

Opening Levels

Beginner class：For new learners of Chinese

Elementary class: Suitable for learners who have completed 300 hours (about one semester) of Chinese                   language learning.

Intermediate class: Suitable for learners who have completed 900 hours (about three semesters) of Chinese           language learning.

1. Comprehensive Course：Enhance your vocabulary, grammar, and sentence application skills through listening, speaking, reading, and writing exercises.

2. Speaking Course: Enhance your Chinese communication skills through oral training.

3. Cultural salon: Deepen your understanding of Chinese culture through traditional cultural learning and other salon activities.

Salon themes:  Tea culture，Chinese calligraphy, Chinese painting, museum visits, park photography, etc.

Salon location: Art galleries, tea houses, parks, museums, and other local attractions.

The cultural inspection trip to Dapeng Fortress can be registered at own expenses (600~800 RMB) and is arranged on the Saturday and Sunday of first week. This fee covers transportation, tickets, hotel for single day, breakfast and lunch, and might differ according to exact price on the day.

1.Payment will be made collectively by the school.

2.Individual student application: After receiving the payment email, the tuition fee will be paid by overseas transfer, wechat or Alipay.

1.This program only accepts group registrations, with a minimum of 15 participants per group.

2.Short term of insurance covering the whole session should be purchased before entering China and should be shown to the teacher responsible for the program. Any incident during your stay in China should be settled by your insurance company.
